Configure placement tag fields

Create placement-level fields that control how and where ads render.

Placement tag fields add custom settings to individual placements. They are available when HB Manager loads the placement.

Use them to control rendering without changing your site implementation. For example, you can define a render ID, border, breakpoint, padding, or active state.

Open placement tag fields

In HB Manager, open Placement Tag Fields from the management menu.

Create a field

Create a field by combining the required configuration options. The field then becomes available on each placement.

Configure the field type and its available options.

Apply the field to a placement

After you create the field, select its value in the placement settings. HB Manager applies that value when it loads the placement.

Custom fields can require site-side JavaScript. Test each field before enabling it in production.
